Field Commissioning
Experience encompasses analog and discrete hardwire systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), distributed control systems (DCS), and latest technology process automation systems (PAS) utilizing digital fieldbus architecture.
Application of digital fieldbus control systems enables clients to realize reduced installation, commissioning and maintenance expenses on their projects.
Installations
Control system installations are designed to comply with both hazardous and non-hazardous electrical classifications. Use of intrinsically safe IO and wiring practices in hazardous areas can achieve major cost reduction in conduit and wiring system installations.
Design
Instrumentation design is aided by Chemstress’ in-house instrument database which allows us to generate Instrument Index reports, ISA type specification sheets, IO assignment lists, cable schedules, procurement reports, etc. Custom list and document generation is supported by Chemstress engineers and designers in order to meet the various needs of Chemstress’ customers.
Documentation
Instrumentation specification and installation documentation is a particular area of strength resulting from Chemstress’ diverse customer base and years of experience. Along with our own database information, Chemstress utilizes a full complement of vendor software for selection and sizing of instrumentation in order to improve specification and vendor quotation timelines. Chemstress maintains standard installation details in AutoCAD®* software format.
